Founded in Perth, RAC has been a part of the Western Australian community since 1905. We’re a unique organisation, built by members, for members. 

RAC’s difference is that we are a mutual organisation, which means we can give back our profits for the benefit of our members and the WA community, for the better. We are passionate about making WA a better place by making our roads and transport systems safer, more accessible and sustainable.

From our origins as a motoring club, we have evolved into an organisation with over 1,400 employees serving more than 1,000,000 members.

Today, we remain the independent voice for road users, advocating on behalf of all Western Australian’s to ensure we’re able to travel around this state in the safest, most sustainable and accessible way possible. We also give back to the community through community sponsorship and education programs.
